1993-94 Hideki Matsui Yomiuri Giants Japanese Game Used Bat (PSA GU 8)
One of if not the earliest Hideki Matsui bat offered in public auction, this dates to 1993-94 during his tenure with the Japan League's Yomiuri Giants. This Mizuno Pro professional model lumber measures 33.5" and weighs 31.7 ounces, with evidence of outstanding use with ball marks, stitch impressions, and black ink transfers. G55 is stamped into the knob, which was obtained from a Yomiuri Giants employee. Matsui batted .304 over the first 10 years of his career in Japan, before playing another 1,268 games over a decade in the Majors. Bat grades PSA GU 8 and comes with LOA.
