1993 Greg Maddux Atlanta Braves Signed Game Worn Jersey
Nice use displayed in this 1993 Greg Maddux Atlanta Braves jersey. Road gray button-front top has Russell Athletic size 44, year 93, and garment care tagging on front tail. Script Atlanta above tomahawk crosses the chest in red-on-navy lettering; name in navy lettering is on a plate above the number 31 on back in red-on-navy tackle twill. There is a faint outline of a stain on the right shoulder and right side of the front which could be from sweat. The Hall of Famer signed on the number "3" in 7/10 black Sharpie, completing the picture of the superb display piece. Jersey dates from the second of an exceptional 4-year streak of Cy Young Awards, during which the control-pitching phenomenon finished with a 20-10 record and 2.36 ERA; though it was not a widely recognized stat in his era, Maddux's rate of 1.80 walks per nine innings ranks 11th among all MLB starters since 1920.
