1993 John Madden All-Madden Team Signed Jacket

John Madden, the Hall of Fame NFL coach who passed away in December of 2021, achieved distinction in three major ways: He was the coach of the Oakland Raiders from 1969-1978, won seven division titles, and won the Oakland Raiders' first Super Bowl in SB XI; As a football television commentator, he won 16 Sports Emmy Awards; and he gave his name and expertise to the Madden NFL video game, the most popular football video game in history. When he was a TV commentator, Madden began in 1984 to pick an All-Madden team. Madden explained what it meant: "[I]t's about Jack Youngblood playing with a busted leg... Reggie White making the other guy wish he put a little more in the collection plate at church. It's about a guy who's got a dirty uniform, mud on his face, and grass in the ear hole of his helmet." A tag in the neck shows "Authentic Pro Line by Apex One". A smaller neck tag: "100% nylon exterior - 100% polyester lining". Another neck tag shows the size as "M" (medium). An approximately 7" x 6" patch on the left breast of the jacket reads, "All-Madden 1993 Team". An "NFL" logo tag is on the lower inside right. An "Apex" tag is on the right chest. Madden has neatly signed the jacket with a black marker on the right side of the chest. The jacket is in excellent condition, showing little or no wear.
