1993 Marquette Smith Florida State Orange Bowl Championship Ring
The Florida State Seminoles have a nice "ring" to their name as NCAA football champions. And two decades ago, they earned rings for their 27-14 victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the 1993 Orange Bowl. This genuine ring was awarded to tailback Marquette Smith and has his name is engraved inside. The face features eight faux-diamonds and 1993 ORANGE BOWL CHAMPIONS." The left shank features the name "SMITH" along with the team's 11-1 record and cartoon depiction of the mascot. The right shank reads: "SEMINOLES" atop the Orange Bowl logo. The 10K gold ring by Artcarved is Size 10.5, stamped inside and is in NRMT condition. Interestingly, FSU's quarterback that season - Charley Ward - went on to enjoy a 12-year NBA career as a point guard with the Knicks, Spurs and Rockets.
