Navy blue cap has embroidered white interlocking NY on crown; band has Diamond Collection, New Era 5950, and size 7 1/4 100% Wool tagging, with Jeter's now-retired number 2 written under the bill in black marker. Though he played just 15 games in his 1995 freshman season, Jeter appeared in 157 the following year, earning Rookie of the Year honors in what was his official "Rookie" season. Jeter's career spanned two decades in the Bronx, culminating in Hall of Fame honors and a rightful place among all time Yankees greats.
