1995 Cal Ripken Jr, 2,131st Consecutive Games Played Full Ticket PSA NM-MT 8 - Breaks Gehrig's Record
Full ticket (5.5x2") issued for the game between the Baltimore Orioles and California Angels at Camden Yards on September 6, 1995, in which Cal Ripken played in his 2,131st game, breaking Lou Gehrig's longstanding record. Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Of the 185 examples of this full ticket listed in the PSA Population Report, only 21 have received a higher grade. Ripken's incredible feat of playing in 2,131 consecutive games was one of the best feel-good moments in baseball history, especially coming on the heels of the forgettable 1994 strike season. This is an outstanding high-grade full example of this important ticket, and one that would be a welcome addition to any Cal Ripken Jr. or baseball-ticket collection.
