1995 Kenny Lofton & Sandy Alomar Cleveland Indians ALCS Game Used Bat

1995 Kenny Lofton & Sandy Alomar Cleveland Indians ALCS Game Used Bat

The American League's top team in 1995 would cement its legacy as the first to win 100 games in a season that had fewer than 154 games. The Cleveland Indians (as they were then called) steamrolled through the regular season with a 100-44 record, capturing their division by a whopping 30 games defeating both Boston and Seattle to win their first pennant in over 40 years. Two of the vital cogs on the Tribe that stellar season were leadoff man extraordinaire Kenny Lofton and catcher Sandy Alomar. This lot offers Louisville Sluggers from both players, with 1995 L.C.S. demarcations. The Lofton bat (33") mistakenly bears the name "Kevin" Lofton, an obvious misprint by the lumber company. There are lots of ball seam marks and blue label marks on the barrel of the uncracked bat. Alomar's bat (34") has a large barrel crack and is held together by tape. It could be glued back together without much trouble.
