1995 Wade Boggs Game Worn Jersey & Bat
In blue-on-white double-layer tackle twill, "New York", arches across the chest of Wade's gray "road" Yankees jersey with his number "12" appearing on the reverse. Above the hem of the left sleeve is a black knit band and the number "7", worn that year by all Yanks in memory of Mickey Mantle's passing. Signed in blue sharpie on the lower left breast with tagging on the tail: "Russell [size] 46", "Boggs-95" strip tag, "100% polyester", and "2" Extra Length" flag tags. Measurable use throughout though missing top button. His 1994 (34.5") personal model Rawlings "456B" is stamped "Wade Boggs" in black letters on the barrel alongside his brilliant silver sharpie signature. Written with his number "12" on the knob, light but evident use.
