1995 Wesley Walls New Orleans Saints Signed Game Worn Jersey (JSA)
New Orleans Saints road jersey worn by tight end Wesley Walls in 1995. The white mesh jersey features the number "85" on the front, reverse, and each shoulder. All numerals are screened in black, with gold interior/exterior outlining. The name "Walls" is lettered in black upon a white strip tag on the reverse. The Saints team logo appears on each sleeve. A "Champion size 50" label appears on the left front tail along with a second Champion label that reads "1995 Designed & Tailored Exclusively for New Orleans Saints." Walls has signed the jersey "Wesley Walls #85" in black marker (grading 6/10) on the reverse, directly above the nameplate. The jersey is original as issued and displays light wear. 1995 marked Walls' second and last season with New Orleans. Appearing in all sixteen games, Walls caught 57 passes for 694 yards and 4 touchdowns. While those number sound modest in today's NFL, at the time, Walls' 57 receptions was a team-record for tight ends. In 1996 he joined the Carolina Panthers, were he became on the game's top tight ends, appearing in five Pro Bowls between the years 1996 and 2001. He retired in 2003 with 450 receptions, 5,291 receiving yards, and 54 touchdowns. COA and corresponding hologram label (affixed to the manufacturer's tag) from JSA (for the signature only).
