1996-98 Norm Johnson Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey (Steelers LOA)
<p><span style="font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'Segoe UI Web (West European)', 'Segoe UI', -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; color: #201f1e;">Pittsburgh Steelers road jersey worn by placekicker Norm Johnson in 1996/1997. The white dureen jersey features the number "9" on the front, reverse, and each shoulder. "Johnson" is lettered upon a white nameplate on the reverse, directly above the number. All letters and numerals are applied in black tackle twill. Located on the left front tail are a "Nike" label and "96" year tag. This jersey was issued in 1996, but was also used in 1997. We know this because Starter was the manufacturer of Steelers jerseys in 1996 and Nike produced the jerseys in 1997. Here, one can see evidence where the Starter tag on the left front tail, and the former block numerals on the front, reverse, and shoulders have been replaced. Also the name on the reverse was replaced in 1997, because that was the only year in which the Steelers had names lettered in black on its jerseys. The jersey displays light use, which one would expect on a garment used by a placekicker. Johnson played four seasons with Pittsburgh (1995-1998), and in 1995 he led the NFL in both field goal attempts (41) and field goals made (34). This jersey originates directly from the Pittsburgh Steelers and is accompanied by a hologram label (GU-112847) from Steelers Authentic Memorabilia, which is affixed to an interior wash tag.</span></p>
