1996 Andre Agassi Signed Match Worn Shirt Attributed to Australian Open Match vs. Jim Courier (PSA & Possible Photo-Match)
Beautiful match worn tennis polo shirt used and autographed by Grand Slam champion Andre Agassi. White shirt with button collar has black stripes on the shoulders and armbands, Nike and size large tags in collar, and nice evidence of wear with some loose threads, and some gold ink is present in the collar from previous framing. Signed with "All the Best!" inscription in black marker grading 6/10. The one-time top ranked player in the world wore this style shirt at the Australian Open, Newsweek Cup, and Elton John & Billie Jean King Smash Hits, however according to Getty, the shirt he was wearing at the Elton John & Billie Jean King event has a loose white thread near the bottom of the left sleeve, so it cannot be from that event. Multiple points shown in Getty images 232806, 1232699, 1232704, 1224805 lead us to believe it was worn in the Australian Open match against Jim Courier. Agassi rallied after losing the first two sets to take that quarter-final match before being ousted in the semis by Michael Chang. Comes with PSA LOA.
