1996 Derek Jeter World Series Game Used Bat (33.5")
Can a Jeter bat get any better than this? It's unlikely. Absolutely pounded rookie bat is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the star shortstop himself, explaining that he used the bat in the thrilling 1996 World Series. Check out the two red ball marks on the barrel if you don't believe him--those could have only come from World Series balls. The many blue marks come from earlier in the season, most likely the Divisional and League playoffs. Louisville Slugger P72 is cracked and repaired. Silver sharpie signature on barrel is tagged, "96 WS." Both this signature and the one on the LOA were witnessed by the folks at Steiner Sports and authenticated by them. A great career and a great Yankee dynasty begin.
