1996 Mike Piazza Autographed Game Worn Jersey
Although he now spearheads the NL’s New York Mets, it was the Los Angeles Dodgers that birthed one of the greatest offensive catchers in the history of baseball. Mike Piazza wore this amazing home white gamer in 1996, when he posted 36 homers while batting .336 and collecting 105 ribbies. Pristine white with “Dodgers” across the chest in tightly woven Dodger blue and his number “31” below the heart in red tackle twill. Signed in black felt tip below his number. Verso is “Piazza 31” in blue on white. Left sleeve bears the “1962-1996 Dodger Stadium 35 seasons” patch. Right sleeve with blue embroidered Russel Athletic logo. Tagging inside front left tail is “Russell Diamond Collection [size] 50” with “1996” printed on slightly faded plate above and “100% polyester” plus “2” extra length” flag tags. Nice use.
