1996 Olympic Torch Signed by Muhammad Ali
This 31 1/2" Olympic torch was used in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, known as the Centennial Olympics. Bill Clinton opened the ceremonies, and Muhammad Ali held and signed this torch. This torch says "100, Atlanta 1996" on the top golden band. On the thicker golden band towards the bottom, every past Olympics location has been engraved, beginning with "Athens 1896" and ending with "Atlanta 1996". Ali has signed the wooden middle section in black Sharpie marker. The torch may be fairly common to find, but rare to have it signed by Muhammad Ali. The torch comes in two pieces but can be easily repaired.
