1996 World Series Champion New York Yankees Black Bat
Part of a limited run created by Louisville Slugger to commemorate World Championships, this 1996 New York Yankees edition is not only spectacular but also very rare. It has the names of the players as well as replica autographs engraved in gold leaf, with Manager Joe Torre and the words "NEW YORK YANKEES WORLD CHAMPIONS 1996" in green on the barrel. There are a couple of very minor nicks that do not at all diminish the display value of this piece celebrating the Pinstripes' first title in an uncharacteristically long 18-year span.
