On March 17, 1997, at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, Carlos Gonzalez and Hector Torres battled in the main event, with Gonzalez winning a unanimous ten round decision. Offered here are the fight gloves worn by the victor in this fight. The gloves are 8-ounce Cleto Reyes, green leather with partial laces and are marked, "CARLOS GONZALEZ ST. PATRICKS DAY WIN OVER HECTOR TORRES." Perfectly intact with expected wear.
