1997 Cleveland Indians American League Championship Ring

1997 Cleveland Indians American League Championship Ring

The mid-1990s Cleveland Indians may be the most talented team never to win a World Series. They came closest in 1997 when they lost a heartbreaking seventh game to the Florida Marlins. Still, Manny Ramirez, Jim Thome, Matt Williams, Omar Vizquel and company captured the American League pennant and commissioned this ring which features real diamonds on the top, along with the wording: "CLEVELAND AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS" around the perimeter. The left shank reads: "CAMPBELL" (a team employee) and "INDIANS" atop the World Series logo. "1997" and "FULL HOUSE" are on the opposite side surrounding a depiction of Jacobs Field. Chief Wahoo is also present. The ring is size 11 and in NRMT condition with 10 Karat gold and stamped inside band. An LOA from Jostens is included.
