1997 Enrique Wilson World Series Ring
Tribe magic fell just short of the Florida Marlins, who saw their first World Championship in the club’s fifth year of existence. This magnificent hunk of 10-karat gold by Balfour is a mesmerizing consolation prize. Gigantic top in the shape of home plate, outlined by 22 little diamonds with 5 larger diamonds in the center. “Cleveland – American League Champions” surround it. Right shank is “1997” with Cleveland Indians Stadium and Wahoo head logo. Left shank is World Series logo with “Wilson 35” and “Indians” in between. Ring belonged to Enrique Wilson, who played the shortstop position for the Indians in ‘97. He has since played for Pittsburgh and is now on the New York Yankees.
