1997 Roger Clemens Toronto Blue Jays Signed Game Worn Jersey - Cy Young Season
Bright 1997 Toronto Blue Jays jersey game used by hard-throwing hurler Roger Clemens. Blue button-front top has 21-50-97-4 tag in collar, stylized Toronto in individual red, white, and blue letters across the chest above the Rocket's number 21 in the same style, which is also below his name in individual lettering on back. Signed on front in black, inscribed "Rocket" and "CYA" standing for one of his seven Cy Young Award seasons; also signed on back in silver with "Best Wishes Rocket" and "CYA" inscription. Colorful Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary patch on right sleeve and Jays patch on left, Russell size 50 tag on front and jersey shows very nice use with some minor pilling and a few stray threads. The '97 season was the first of two straight 20-win seasons in Toronto, as he finished with a 21-7 record.
