Circa 1998-2001 Barry Larkin game used Mizuno bat is an exceptional specimen from the power-hitting shortstop. Weighing a light 28.3 ounces and measuring 34", black model N208 number is stamped on knob and Larkin's number 11 is also on the knob, in silver marker. Outstanding use includes a handle crack, ball and stitch impressions, ball marks, paint transfers, donut impression, pine tar, and more. Nearly a perfect example, the only thing preventing it from being a perfect 10 is a handle crack, as the included PSA/DNA LOA grades this bat GU 9.5. In an era when shortstop was considered a defense-first position, Larkin provided some extra pop to go along with his three Gold Glove awards, as his 198 career home runs remains 10th among shortstops on baseball's all-time list, earning induction into the Hall of Fame.
