Sammy Sosa bat game used during his historic 1998 season with the Chicago Cubs. Rawlings model 170B is uncracked and shows excellent use including ball marks on the barrel, and pine tar residue and tape on the handle. Measures 34.5" and weighs 32.7 ounces, has 170B 069 93 stamped on knob, and included LOA definitively dates this bat to the 1998 campaign, with an overall grade of PSA GU 8.5. The year was significant for Sosa's wild home run chase with St. Louis Cardinals' powerhouse Mark McGwire; while Sammy's 66 home runs amazingly didn't lead the league, his 158 RBI did, enough to earn National League Most Valuable Player honors.
