1999 Ken Griffey Jr. Home Run Derby Victory & All Star Game Worn Hat (Photo-Matched)
Only four big-league sluggers have ever won the Home Run Derby multiple times, and the only man who has ever won it THREE times is Ken Griffey, Jr, who won his historic third title in 1999 wearing this very hat, which bears his name and number 24 on a patch to the left of his Seattle "S" on the front. The size 7 1/8 cap, which he preferred to wear backwards, shows moderate wear, as it could have also been worn in the All-Star Game that summer at Boston's Fenway Park. Junior was in his final months with the Mariners when he wore this hat, departing for Cincinnati the following off-season after winning the last of his four American League home run titles with 48 in '99.
