1999 Ken Griffey Jr. Home Run Derby Victory and Mariners Season-Long Game Worn Pants (Photo-Matched)
Tremendous use is displayed in this pair of white Seattle Mariners pants game worn by Hall of Fame slugger Ken Griffey, Jr. when he won the 1999 Home Run Derby! Pants have been photo-matched to numerous images. Waistband has tagging reading "24 Griffey 34/38-34-99" next to a Russell size 36 tag. Visible use includes a large team repair on the back left leg, and a huge repair on the left knee with a smaller one above. Elastic stirrups are sewn into the bottom of each pant leg, and based on the use displayed, it is clear that Junior wore these for multiple games, perhaps the majority of the season.
