1999 Mike Tomczak Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey

1999 Mike Tomczak Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey

Operating mainly as a backup quarterback while in the Steel City, Tomczak got the opportunity to start in '96 and made the most of it, posting an impressive 10-5 record as starter and guiding the team to the playoffs. After his playing career, Tomczak returned to Pittsburgh and served as offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Power of the Arena Football League. This classic black, home jersey was worn by Tomczak during the 1999 season, his last with the team. His name appears on the back in gold lettering on a black name plate, while his number "18" can be found in white on the front, back, and both shoulders. Inside the collar of the Nike jersey, a tag denotes the year it was made and its size as "99-48". It shows moderate use with some scraps and scuffs from being hit.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives items will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research
