1999 New York Yankees World Series Trophy (12")
This delightful miniature version of the most highly coveted prize in baseball commemorates the New York Yankees' 1999 World Series sweep of the Atlanta Braves. Mariano Rivera earned Series MVP with a win and two saves, with Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez setting the tone in Game 1 and Roger Clemens sealing the deal in Game 4 to give the Yankees their third title in four years (two of which came at the expense of Atlanta). The golden award on black podium features a gold band at the base which reads: “World Series Champions, New York Yankees, 1999.” 30 pennants - one for each major league team - surround the ball and crown motif at the center with Yankees and Braves World Series pins in front. It stands 12" tall at its apex and is in NRMT condition, with the crown and baseball centerpiece a little bit loose.
