1999 Robin Ventura Rawlings Gold Glove Award
The Rawlings Gold Glove is given out each year to players at each fielding position who are judged to have exhibiting superior fielding and defensive skills. This Gold Glove was awarded to Robin Ventura for his 1999 season with the New York Mets, and is one of the six Gold Gloves the excellent third baseman won during his career. The trophy features the iconic Gold Glove with "Rawlings Gold Glove Award" branded into the palm. The wooden base has a relief carving of Ventura's face above the words "1999 Rawlings Gold Glove Award / Robin Ventura / Third Base - National League / Honoring His Selection as THE FINEST IN THE FIELD!" The glove is flanked on both sides by gold-painted Rawlings baseballs. Trophy is EX-MT to NRMT.
