19th Century Baseball Loving Cup w/Amazing Game Scene

19th Century Baseball Loving Cup w/Amazing Game Scene

With the pitcher in his wind-up and the batter digging in at the plate, the genuinely American sports scene etched into this 11"-tall loving cup quite simply lifts the object from the ordinary to the extraordinary. The wording on the other side reads: "P.R.R. CLERKS BASE BALL LEAGUE CAR SHOPS CHAMPIONS 1909 WON 11 LOST 6." The trophy likely originates from the 19th century but was used in 1909, which was a common practice at the time.
