19th Century Football Lithograph
Colorful 19th century lithograph shows a very early football game being played on an open field. Nobody wears any helmets or pads as one runner tries to push the ball ahead under the watchful eye of the referee. There are spectators in the background and the buildings of the town can be seen on an early fall day in the distance. Handsome lithograph measures approximately 24 x 16" and is placed in a classic brass colored frame measuring approximately 28 x 21". There is some minor water damage in the upper left hand corner, otherwise EX-MT.
