19th Century Pugilistic Books with Jack Randall Signature

Wonderful collection of early books on boxing are all British. 1) The highpoint here is an early copy of The Fancy signed on the inside by the pugilist Jack Randall next to his section. Starts at Volume 1 #1 (Tom Cribb), and goes on to the "Negro" Molineaux and ends with #27 George Cooper. From a prestigious 50-year boxing book collection the autograph is 100% genuine and has been verified by two scholars in England. Book itself is EX. 2) Tom Cribbs Memorial To Congress. Third edition dates from 1819 and is one of the more important early tomes on the sport. Beautifully rebound at the turn of the century it is a splendid EX-MT specimen. 3) The Fancy (1820’s). Beautifully bound this carries the memoirs of such luminaries as Daniel Mendoza and several engraved plates including “Bitton the Jew.” EX.
