19th Century Theater Album with Maggie Mitchell & Minnie Palmer
Amazingly well presented and preserved 19th century scrapbook with portraits, posters, and playbills featuring theater sweethearts, Maggie Mitchell and Minnie Palmer. The items were meticulously collected, mounted and ultimately bound in a hardcover book with a gold imprinted title on the spine. The condition of the bound items are incredible. A small number of the larger, folded pieces have tears along their folds and there are pages in the front and back that have become separated from the binding. The boards show slight bumping on the corners as does the binding. Overall, though, this is a spectacular collection of 19th century theater art in excellent condition.
