19th Century U.S. Military Uniform Collection (3)

19th Century U.S. Military Uniform Collection (3)

A trio of terrific, historic uniforms on display here. Here's the breakdown: #1: New York 71st regiment Dress/ Parade Jacket featuring 27 buttons on the chest, all with "71" encircled by a wreath. Excellent condition. #2: a frock that shows some wear and dates roughly to the late 1800s and maybe as late as early 20th century. The buttons are U.S. military featuring the federal eagle. #3: a 19th Century work shirt reported to have been worn by a confederate soldier. It appears to be all hand-stitched and from the time period. It has the look that it could have been worn by a CS Soldier. All three have custom Lucite displays that would make any room housing them look like a museum. The displays measure 29.5" x 38.5", 27" x 40.5" and 33.5" x 34".
