2000 Daryl Kile Game Worn Signed All Star Jersey
Daryl Kile pitched for three different NL teams in his twelve year career. Tragically, Kile died of natural causes at the age of 33. This is a Cardinals Rawlings size 48 with “Set 1, 1999” and 1/2 extra sleeve length tags inside the front tail. Although the jersey is tagged 1999 it was common practice for teams to carry over unused jerseys from the previous year. All Star patch on right sleeve. Custom tag put on the jersey when it was sold for charity “2000 All Star Game Atlanta, Georgia, Tuesday, July 12 Daryl Kile #57.” Date of game was mistakenly sewn on as the 12th but really took place on the 11th. Light use.
