2000 David Ortiz Minnesota Twins Batting Practice Used Bat (PSA)

2000 David Ortiz Minnesota Twins Batting Practice Used Bat (PSA)

Presented is recent HOF Inductee, David Ortiz game used bat. Big Papi slammed 541 home runs in a 20-year career. He was with the Minnesota Twins, for six seasons, and played 14 years with the Boston Red Sox. He was a fan favorite of Red Sox rooters, and a dangerous slugger who never lacked confidence, even in a slump. As Ortiz once related, "Maybe my timing's a little off. But I'm about to be hotter than Jamaica in July." He helped Boston to three World Championships, and he was the World Series MVP in 2004 and 2013. After the 2013 World Series Championship over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6, Ortiz enhanced his already high popularity with Red Sox fans when he held his MVP Trophy over his head and said, "This is for you, Boston. You deserve it." The Mizuno David Ortiz Professional bat is Model N7, an ash bat with a black finish. The bat is 34" in length and has a weight of 31.7 ounces. The knob has a PSA authentication sticker and also exhibits the bat's model number "N7" etched into the knob. The bat label period is 2000 when Ortiz was still on the Minnesota Twins. The bat shows outstanding use. It has tape on the cracked handle, and green ball marks are visible on the handle. The green marks result from the green balls used in batting practice. The bat comes with a PSA LOA. The induction of Ortiz into the Hall of Fame will serve to make all his used items even more valuable.
