2000 Jackie Stiles Game Worn Team USA Basketball Uniform and Warm-Up
A record-setting player in her college days, Jackie Stiles was an obvious choice for the 2000 U.S. Olympic Women's Basketball team. She helped lead her team to a gold medal, beating the Australian team to go home with the top honors. This lot is Stiles' full set of Olympic gear, including her entire uniform, warm-ups, and sneakers. Her uniform jersey is a Champ sports USA Basketball size 18 in blue with red trim. A white number 5 appears on front and back, while white stars decorate the sides and an underlined "USA" is emblazoned across the front. The shorts are blue Champ sports size 34 with a red vertical stripe on each hip, decorated with white stars. Her warm-up tee matches the jersey almost exactly, but is heavier material and has short sleeves. The warm-up pants are solid blue, and feature a white Champs logo on the side. The warm-up windbreaker is a long-sleeved jacket with an American flag theme in red, white and blue, and is a button-down with red stripes and white stars. Finally, the shoes are size 5 white and red Nikes with USA over the tongue. Both sneakers come inscribed by the player with identical "Jackie Stiles #10 #5 U.S.A." written in black sharpie on the toes.
