2000 Tom Brady Rookie New England Patriots Practice Worn Shorts - Earliest Known Brady Worn Relic

2000 Tom Brady Rookie New England Patriots Practice Worn Shorts - Earliest Known Brady Worn Relic

Amazing find in this pair of shorts worn in 2000 by New England Patriots rookie Tom Brady. Blue shorts with red trim have Adidas size XL tag in waistband, drawstring is present, embroidered Adidas logo on right thigh next to number 12 heat-pressed in white, opposite thigh has embroidered Patriots logo, NFL shield patch is on back middle near the waistband. Per Getty images, this style dates to May of 2000 (the Pats wore a different style starting the following season) and stands as the earliest known pro football-used item of Tom Brady as it is attributed to the month of May, just one month after being drafted by the Patriots. As difficult as it is to agree on a decisive GOAT in other sports, Brady's inconceivable litany of records and accomplishments leaves little room for argument in the sport of football. Seven Super Bowl titles (5 as MVP), all time leader in completions (7,753), touchdowns (649), and yards (89,214), rate as just the tip of the iceberg. Consider that a quarterback could lead his team to 10 victories for 25 straight seasons and would still not quite reach TB12's career mark of 251 victories. This is one of the extremely rare times you will be able to find an authentic Tom Brady team used item from his ROOKIE YEAR or even any year from early on in his career.
