2001 Darrell Green Washington Redskins Game Worn Jersey
The self-proclaimed "itty bitty guy," Darrell Green was nicknamed the "Ageless Wonder" by his peers and the general media for his remarkable ability to maintain a high level of play well into the twilight of his career. Green was also known for his speed and was one of the fastest players in the history of the NFL. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest cornerbacks to have ever played in the NFL and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008. From his 2001 season comes this all original, game used Washington Redskins jersey. The Adidas size 42 tag on front tail is accompanied with a "01" year tag which is firmly sewn on and shows no evidence of replacement. The famous "28" can be found on the front, back and both sleeves. "GREEN" in white is sewn on the red name plate on the back. This Hall of Famer's jersey shows moderate use and has staining on the front that appears to be blood.
