2002-03 Sammy Sosa Chicago Cubs Game Used Bat (PSA GU 9.5)
Clean circa 2002-03 bat game used by power hitter extraordinaire Sammy Sosa. Black X-Bat is uncracked and measures 34.75" with a weight of 34.9 ounces. Bat displays outstanding use with ball marks, stitch impressions, and blue bat rack paint transfers. A Dominican flag is placed on the handle-side of the trademark, and on the subject of trademarks, Sosa's massively taped knob is a common sight on Sammy's lumber. Overall great piece, rated PSA GU 9.5, and comes with LOA. Sosa smacked a combined 89 round-trippers in the '02-03 period, and one can only imagine what greatness this bat has seen over that stretch.
