Another piece from the massive Art Berglund collection, this ring from the 2002 Under-18 Hockey World Championships is a testament to Bergund's far-reaching impact in the sport. Berglund, who was involved with the "Miracle on Ice" team of 1980 and numerous other American national teams, made his mark as an executive and was the recipient of the Lester Patrick Award in 1992. Team USA steamrolled the competition at the event, winning for the first time ever, and were presented these rings as a result. It is in NM condition with a blue stone on top and cubic zirconia in the center. Around the top rim is "2002 World Championships." One shank has "Under 18 IIHF 7-1-0 Slovakia" while the other has "Berglund, USA 3, Russia 1" with the USA logo. Inside is stamped "MTM 10K" and engraved "Let's Roll." The size is 12 1/2 and weight is 21.9 grams.
