2002 Brett Favre Game Worn 40,000 Passing Yards Jersey
Road white jersey, worn by Brett Favre on October 9, 2002 vs. the Chicago Bears is an acquisition of titanic proportions. Not only was it worn for a milestone game in which he surpassed 40,000 career passing yards, it is beautifully autographed and inscribed by Favre in white on the "4" on the verso: "Brett Favre Game Used 'MNF' 34-21 Pack over Bears." Accompanied by an LOA from Brett Favre himself and an "Authentic Brett Favre" hologram sticker (#42734). A monumentally important jersey from the quintessential leader/quarterback of the NFL. Brett Favre remains the game's most potent QB, even after authoring one of the most awe-inspiring Hall of Fame-caliber careers in NFL history. Still frustrating opposing defenses and thrilling fans and teammates, Favre is one of the NFL's favorite, most well-respected players of all time. The jersey is tagged "01-52" on a plate in the collar, but has the proper "Equipment NFL" shield for 2002 embroidered on the front of the V-neck. The shirt was issued to Favre and worn on 10-9-2002 only. His #4 on the front, back & sleeves in green tackle twill. Reebock logo embroidered on each sleeve. Evidence of game use is visible, particularly on the shoulders, which have been slightly scuffed and marked. Care tag in the seam of the front tail has Brett's "4" embroidered onto the back in green thread. Possibly the most vital jersey extant from "Mr. Monday Night".
