2002 Chipper Jones Game Worn Jersey
Back in 2002, when he was still feeling chipper, Jones was perhaps the NL’s most feared hitter, thus seeing this jersey he wore for some of the season on its way to the plate was a sure-fire cause of acid reflux among pitchers. Chipper had another glorious year, hitting a career-high .327 with 36 homers and 100 RBIs. His on-base percentage was, gulp, .435. Road gray jersey has “Atlanta” and the tomahawk on the chest and “10” on back in red on black tackle twill, and “Jones” above the number in black. “Russell Authentic” tag on left front tail with Set No. “1-02” label and size “48 100% Polyester” flag tags. Moderate use. Jersey was originally obtained from the Braves.
