2002 Los Angeles Lakers World Championship Ring

2002 Los Angeles Lakers World Championship Ring

Led by Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, and legendary coach Phil Jackson the 2001-02 LA Lakers completed the franchise's first ever three-peat by sweeping the New Jersey Nets four games to none. Awarded to team employees, this "B" ring is a size 9.5cm and weighs 50.6 grams. On the face, "Lakers" is spelled out in cubic zirconias and surrounded by beautiful yellow diamonds. Framing this is "NBA Champions 2001, 2002, 2003." On the left panel is "Sprint" with the NBA logo beneath it. On the right panel is "Staples Center" with the Lakers logo and below that "Chick" written next to a small microphone in honor of Chick Hearn, LA’s long-time play-by-play announcer who passed away that year. The inside of the ring is stamped "14K." This wonderful piece of hardware honoring the NBA's first dynasty of the 21st century is in NRMT condition. PSA/LOA.
