Striking and sleek, this Legend Award was presented to Oscar Robertson in 2002 by the NBA Retired Players Association for extraordinary contributions to the game both on and off the court. A weighty, three-tiered marble base supports a glass basketball with a glass basketball figure suspended inside. Two affixed plaques display the NBA logo and "NBA Retired Players Association, Oscar Robertson, Legend Award, 2002." The award stands 19" and weighs 22.5 lbs.The base was professionally restored to its original condition after some minor damage. Obtained directly from Oscar Robertson and comes with his letter of provenance.
