2002 Peyton Manning Indianapolis Colts Game Worn Jersey
No one can have enough game worn Manning jerseys. Archie Manning was an NFL quarterback for 13 seasons, mainly with the New Orleans Saints. His son, Eli Manning, played quarterback for 17 seasons in the NFL and led the New York Giants to two Super Bowl Championships. Presented is a game worn jersey from Peyton Manning, also Archie's son, from his 2002 season with the Indianapolis Colts. Peyton played 14 seasons with Indianapolis and four with the Denver Broncos. He is a 2-time Super Bowl winner, a 14-time All-Star, a 5-time Associated Press MVP, and the MVP of Super Bowl XLI. In 2002, Peyton Manning's Colts had a 10-6 regular season record and lost the wildcard playoff game to the New York Jets. Manning started every game and completed 392 of 591 passes for 4,200 yards and 27 touchdowns. The jersey shows nice wear with staining on the numbers. It is a scarce jersey with the Colts' 50th Anniversary patch (on the left top chest). The attractive blue jersey shows "MANNING" in white letters across the back. Under the name is "18." Each sleeve has a Reebok logo and the numeral "18" in white numerals. The neck has a "20-50" patch. Just below the front collar is an NFL patch. On the front left outside tail is a tag reading both "Reebok" and "NFL Equipment." With the Mannings more ubiquitous than ever, with Peyton and Eli now hosting their own NFL Monday Night telecast, with both Peyton, Eli, Archie and even Peyton and Eli's brother, Cooper, featured in commercials, the Manning name carries weight. Looking ahead, Cooper Manning's son, Arch, is the number 1 ranked NFL style quarterback in the high school 2023 class. Manning jerseys may naturally soar in value if Arch continues the family dynasty.
