2002 Plaxico Burress Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey - 2 TD Game - Photo-Matched to Multiple Games (Resolution Photomatching LOA)

Plaxico Burress has had many memorable moments in the NFL, but his time in Pittsburgh was largely defined by forming a peerless wide receiver duo with Hines Ward. The skilled tandem torched secondaries in the early 2000's, twice logging more than 1000 receiving yards apiece, making them the first pair in Steelers history. This jersey, game worn by Burress, comes from the second year he and Ward accomplished the feat: 2002. The white road, jersey has a tag inside its collar denoting the year it was made and its size as "02-42". "BURRESS" appears in gold lettering with black trim on a white name plate on the back of the Reebok jersey, while his number "80" is stitched in black on the front, back, and both shoulders. The uniform has custom, fleece-lined pockets, as well as a pouch with a zipper. It shows nice use with some hit marks and scuffs. Though Burress left the Steel City in 2004, he would come back to close out his career in the black and gold (2012-13'). Photo-matched to October 27th, 2002 and November 3rd, 2002. On October 27th, Plaxico had 55-yards receiving on 5 receptions, two of them being touchdowns. Comes with LOA from Resolution Photomatching. All jerseys come directly from the Steelers archive and come with an LOA from the Steelers.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives items will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research
