Signed flag from the 18th hole is a wonderful find from the 2002 U.S. Open at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, Long Island. A flag from this Open is a unique item in that the 2002 Open was the first time the Open was held at a publicly owned and operated golf course. Tournament champion Tiger Woods autographed the flag, along with runner-up Phil Mickelson and 23 other participants, including John Daly, Mark O'Meara, Tim Herron, and Robert Karlsson. This was Woods' second U.S. Open victory and his eighth Major win. In Excellent condition, the 13.5x22.5" yellow nylon ensign, with black markings and lettering, has a 3" tall "18" and a 6" tall caddie outlined in the midst of a circular "2002 U.S. Open Bethpage Black." Here's an opportunity to possess the flag from the finishing hole of a historic Open signed by Woods and Mickelson in their primes.
