2003-04 Cleveland Cavaliers Team-Signed Hat w/Rookie LeBron James (PSA)
Displayed is a 2003-04 Cleveland Cavaliers team-signed tan cap featuring the rookie signature of LeBron James as well as 14 other Cavaliers signatures. In his rookie season, James was a shooting guard who averaged 20.9 PPG, with 5.5 TRB, and 5.9 AST. The squad was coached by Paul Silas, and the Cavaliers finished in 5th place in the NBA's Central Division, with a 35-47 record. James played his rookie NBA season at 19 years old, and his 21st season, in 2023-24, is with the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron played 11 seasons with Cleveland, four with the Miami Heat, and is beginning his sixth season with the Lakers. He was won two NBA Championships with Miami, and one NBA Championship each with the Cavaliers and the Lakers. The 4-time NBA MVP and 4-time NBA Finals MVP has averaged 27.2 PPG over his pro career. Sure-fire future NBA Hall of Famer James signed the size-adjustable cap on the underside of the brim - the only signature in that area. Using a black Sharpie, James' signature is big and bold and includes his #23. The sharp-looking cap has 15 signatures overall, each signed in black Sharpie. Those signing the cap: Carlos Boozer, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, DeSagana Diop, Dajuan Wagner, and others. The cap has a "Headshots" manufacturer's tag on the inner hatband. The cap has a sewn-on Cleveland Cavaliers logo on the front. The cap is in excellent condition, and it comes with a PSA/DNA LOA for the LeBron James signature as well as the other 14 signings. The team-signed cap is a very significant piece from LeBron's rookie season.
