2003-2008 Jorge Posada New York Yankees Game Used Bat
Jorge Posada was the longtime backstop for the New York Yankees who served as the team’s starting field general from 1998 through 2011. He helped the Bronx Bombers win their last four World Series titles (1998, ‘99, ‘00 and ‘09) and hit a total of 275 home runs and knocked in 1,065 runs during his illustrious career. This lot offers one of Posada’s game-used signature model Louisville Slugger professional model (M358) bats used between 2003 and 2008. It exhibits outstanding use with plenty of ball marks and cleat marks visible on the right, left and back barrel. The handle has been taped approximately 7.25" in a spiral pattern over a criss-cross pattern and shows signs of fraying. Measures 34 inches and weighs 33 ounces.
