2003 Alex Rodriguez Game Worn Jersey
There are 250 million reasons why A-Rod’s MVP-year jersey is such a grabber, since it was when he proved to the cynical baseball public he was actually worth all that filthy lucre. In his 3rd and last year with the Rangers before splitting for the aggravation of the Bronx, A-Rod hit .298 with 47 HRs and 118 RBIs. Amazingly, these numbers weren’t as good as the year before when he didn’t win MVP.. Go figure. Home white jersey has “Rangers” across the chest, “3” on front and back in blue on red on black tackle twill, and “Rodriguez” across back in blue on red. Team “lone star” flag patch on left sleeve, MLB logo on neck back. “Authentic/Majestic” tagging on lower left front with size “52” flag tag and “Set 2 2003 +1”slv” and “+2” body” flag tags. There is also a special Texas Rangers inventory number sewn inside reading “03350”. Moderate use and a speck of dirt here and there.
