2003 David Wells New York Yankees Game Used Hat and Glove
Here comes the BOOM! Hefty and hard-throwing, David Wells enjoyed two stints with the Yankees, during which he threw a perfect game and won a World Series ring. Here are two game-used items from "Boomer": a 2003 Yankee Hat with nice use, with #33 under the brim with the notation "JUNE HAT" and Yankees 100th Anniversary patch on the side. There's a beautiful signature underneath with his number inscribed 8/9 out of 10. The glove was also worn during the 2003 campaign during his 11th win of the season on July 9 vs. Cleveland. The Rawlings mitt shows light use and has "BOOMER 33" stitched in along the thumb, as well as the number 15 near the heal. A David Wells Foundation Hologram has been affixed. A single LOA accompanies the lot from the Foundation.
