2003 Hideki Matsui Game Issued Rookie Bat
Good momento from Hideki Matsui's rookie year. A Mizuno Pro bat, marked "Matsui" in gold lettering on barrel. After playing in Japan, Matsui joined the New York Yankees as a 29-year-old MLB rookie in 2003 and hit .287, with 16 home runs and 106 RBI. The Yankees reached the World Series that season, but lost 4 games to 2. This game issue bat is 34" long. Black enameled barrel with a natural wood handle. Marked "A NY55 M" on the knob. Very good condition.
